At Music Dots, we support children’s development using Music, Movement and Play from Birth to Five.
Founded by Faye Wood, a mum of three, with a passion for early childhood development, music and having fun.
Faye’s mission is to create spaces where children and parents can feel uplifted, connected and relaxed.
Since launching the very first classes in November 2020, Faye has dedicated the last four years to Music Dots and has carefully crafted each class to blend music, movement, and play, creating an experience that fosters bonding and well-being.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that when parents feel supported and children feel safe, amazing things can happen.
Faye offers a warm, welcoming environment where every parent and child can thrive and unwind and leave feeling better than when they arrived.
From baby massage to toddler music and movement, each activity is designed to spark creativity, encourage development and bring a smile to both children and their caregivers.
How it all started...
In 2019, while pregnant with her second son Milo, Faye made a bold decision—she wouldn’t return to her previous job. Instead, she seized the opportunity to pursue her passion for early childhood development. Determined to create a space where both parents and children could thrive, she began laying the foundations for what would soon become Faye’s Music Dots.
By November 2020, Faye’s dream had come to life, offering baby, toddler, and preschooler development classes that blended her love for music, movement and play.
Since then, she has run over 1100 classes, creating a nurturing and joyful environment for families to connect, learn and grow together.
Faye has also qualified as a certified baby massage instructor and has undertaken specialised training in areas such as tummy time, developmental play, messy play and supporting children with speech and language challenges. Additionally, she has completed parenting courses tailored for children with ADHD.
Beyond her classes, Faye is a much-loved children’s party entertainer. Through Faye’s Music Dots Parties, she brings fun and excitement to birthday celebrations for children from 1st to 6th birthdays, making her a popular choice for parents.
